Since the shoutbox is only meant for short-term communication, and I'm not always available on IRC, here is the forum. I'll be adding new things on the coming days/weeks/months and see how well this goes. Keep in mind this is an experiment, so don't count on the forum being always up.

Uploading your own avatar doesn't seem to work, but linking with url does so it doesn't really matter, perhaps remove 'uploading avatar' option from settings?
Not sure if cookies work, have to login anew whenever returning...
It seems MyBB doesn't have a simple method of removing the upload options, I've been struggling with it for some time now...
EDIT: Ok... I've hacked a "solution" to the upload problems by disabling all upload options I could find on the templates, since the server the forum is hosted on doesn't allow uploads.
Cookies though, seem to be working fine to me.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

I tried to set my avatar using the url linking, but I can't get it to work somehow ^^;
I entered the url, but after pressing the button "change avatar" nothing happens. Help?
On a side note, the pictures in the default avatar gallery are awesome!
I'm borrowing the alicia avatar for the time being ^^

Yup, I can confirm this bug. I will take a look at it later...
EDIT: Restored the old avatar behavior, which also restores the
not-working on this server "avatar upload" functionality. I'll try to remove the avatar upload options later. DAMN YOU, MYBB.
EDIT #2: It SEEMS I've properly fixed it now...
EDIT #3: Added some more animated GIFs to the avatar gallery just for the heck of it.

MyBB updated to version 1.6.3, implemented reCAPCTHA check for new accounts and auto-prune accounts with 0 posts. Hope this makes things harder for spambots and those register-only-for-spamming-link-on-profile-bots.
Please let me know if anything is broken.
Pruned a lot of spam and spammers. I need to find an alternative for recaptcha and email activations since it doesn't seem to be working at all.

MyBB upgraded, seems like spammers were using a vulnerability on the older version. Let's see of the upgrade solves it.
