This is something I've been working on over the past week or so, it's an anime called Muteki Kanban Musume. It's about a ramen poster girl who is incredibly violent, so think Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan meets a cooking show, the end result is awesomeness.
Arigatou released this some time ago ( I think ) but I just grabbed it off Boxtorrents last week. For the first time I've seen in one of their releases, they used .ass, but they were still shit. Since I love this show and have been waiting for some DVD rips forever, I wanted some good looking subs, so I re-styled and typsetted everything, most if not all the signs were redone using the KissKyuu subs from a year or so back when it was fansubbed. As usual, my connection can't support uploading even this, so you'll have to grab it off boxtorrents yourself, I've included the link to the torrent in the zip, along with the subs, fonts, chapter files and instructions. Here are a few before and after shots between the default subs and mine. Video 720x540 H264 Audio AAC/Japanese Only Subs Styled/Typesetted .ass File size 220MB And here's the zip http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D5ZRRL4V ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

RE: Muteki Kanban Musume DVD's (Subtitle pack)
Hey cool, more styled subs ^^
Probably I won't be grabbing this though, since I already grabbed the fansub version by Kiss-Kyuu which is decent IMO. By the way there's an R2 raw torrent here, complete with DVD extras (Koshimizu Ami and Nabatame Hitomi playing Jenga lol). It's Xvid+MP3 640x480, but well it's R2 with huge size, it might just be better than Arigatou's R1. |

I was actually surprised how good of a job Arigatou did with this encode, their projects are usually pretty below average, but this release was good. ![]() |

Then how about some h264+aac R2DVDrip @ 640x480? ![]() POPGO DVDrip I've downloaded it, and the quality is quite good. |

Well, doesn't seem to be seeded, and aside from the small water mark during the op of my current rips, I'm fairly satisfied with them. Thanks for the link anyway Rockman. ![]() |

The subs are not really in sync with this source, but it can be easily fixed with 600ms delay. Oh, and the subtitles need to be finetimed, especially the signs. And I really wish there'd be OP+ED TL, but well I can add them myself. Other than that, the sub pack's great. Thanks Cookie & Rockman ( ^^)b |
